Patricia Balogun has been in the accounting Profession since mid 1990s when she qualified as a Chartered Accountant. She has since acquired qualification as a Certified Chartered Accountant and a Chartered Tax Adviser. She has gained extensive experience over many years and from different roles, which includes:

Development and setting up of financial systems and finance performance management for various organisations in both Not for Profit organisation and for commercial entities. Cost Management Strategy this includes Procurement methodology, Forecasting, and forecast outturn preparation.

Financial Reporting and completing the annual statutory account, liaison with the auditors to deliver audited annual account. VAT Planning and compliance to VAT regulations for all VAT Schemes and in particular VAT and Charity Finances.

Having acquired these experiences over the years, she now uses the experience to advice businesses and individuals on a variety of speciality, profit enhancing, tax mitigation advice and tax mitigating strategies.

Shola Makinwa


Shola Makinwa is a Chartered Accountant and Business Advisers with over 20 years’ experience in Financial Reporting, Risk Management, and Financial Systems setup and development. He holds a Master’s degree in Chemistry from the University of Lagos, Nigeria and trained as chartered accountant in the UK and has attended many management and business transformation training courses.


Mr Makinwa has spent the last 20 years providing financial reporting and risk management services to a wide range of small to medium sized businesses. He has also designed and implemented a financial reporting framework, which enables compliance to the relevant GAAP, and other business stakeholders. His vast experience on financial reporting has enabled him to develop a practical approach to IFRS conversion and the associated system management strategy for most businesses and diverse economic sectors and industries.


He also has over 15 years’ experience in Tax Planning, and Tax optimisation Strategy for both individual and corporate clients, and in negotiation & resolution of taxation dispute with the Her Majesty Revenue & Customs (HMRC) in the UK. His experience covers, direct taxes (Corporate and Personal Taxation), Withholding Tax and Indirect Taxation.
